Family table note

Why this works

This recipe keeps the plate colorful, satisfying, and practical. It uses everyday ingredients, a flexible method, and balanced flavors so grown-ups and kids can share the same meal.

Helpful tips before you cook

Prep vegetables while the oven or pan heats, taste for salt and acid at the end, and keep sauces or toppings on the side for picky eaters. Leftovers pack well for lunch the next day.

Serving ideas

Pair with a simple green salad, sliced fruit, or warm whole-grain bread depending on the recipe and the season.
